Thinking of the past 10 months I wanted to capture some of the things I love about Riley:
1. His smile when he wakes up
2. His giggles and that he thinks I am so funny
3. They way he dances and raises his hands to praise music
4. The way his whole body shows his excitement – hands gripped, arms & legs flexed, head back, eyes wide, open mouth grin and feet rotating in circles
5. How he devours food – especially if it’s off our plates
6. The way he knows where is tongue is and will gladly show you
7. The way he points at everything and says "dat" as if to say "what is that?"
8. Wrestling and how he slimes my forehead
9. The way he grins ear to ear when Dada comes home
10. The way he sometimes is confused that Dada is the phone
11. How excited he is about watching big trucks
12. The way he waves at everyone
13. His spitting
14. His motor
15. The way he fights going to sleep/taking a nap and then finally gives in and cuddles – what sweet moments those are – so worth waiting for
16. The way he reads Rainbow Rob,Spot,and animal books over and over again
17. The way he makes cow and elephant sounds…for all animals
18. His screeches
19. The way he gives “love” only to his mama
20. His little button nose
21. His hair that stands on end – what will I do when it lies down?
22. The way that he can turn any bad day of mine into something wonderful
23. The way he “talks” to us as if we understand
24. How he LOVEs to be outside
25. How much he fills our home with love - he is a constant reminder of what is important in life
