We've made it to 13 months old! Riley continues to be such a joy and is at such a fun stage. He is so interactive and loves to talk...whether we understand him or not. He loves to take books and sit in his infant seat (which he hated as an infant) and babble to himself as he's "reading." Here are some updated photos.
Here is a usual look these days. Crazy Nana taught him the Lone Ranger song so he asks for his hat multiple times a day so he can try to sing the song. He dances around while doing so - pretty funny, but we get tired of the singing.

The weather has been so nice this past week that Riley and I have been waiting for daddy to get home outside. Daddy pulls into the driveway and Riley jumps in on his lap and drives the car into the garage - a little Britteny Spearish I know...

Riley's diaper rash is all cleared up, but today we went to the doctor because he became suddenly inconsolable. Seriously out of the blue he just became super clingy and fussy so I knew something was up. He had just been at the church nursery for MOPs and was happy and playing and we got home and it was a complete 180. Anyhow, took him to the doctor as his temp rose and sure enough he has a horrible ear infection. Please just keep him in your prayers that this too shall pass and his health will be restored.

Oh, poor guy. I hope he feels better soon. What a cutie..sing'n with his hat! Love it! We get lots of singing too...the same verse of "Jesus Loves Me" over and over, which is a good song to sing...but ahhh!! :)
