Vacation!!

August has been a month that has come and gone all too quickly! We enjoyed a wonderful week at Wapato Point on Lake Chelan and are so excited for the many years we will spend there. Nate and I were like little kids when we had to leave thinking "a whole year before we come back in the summer?". What a relaxing week and fun time with family. Nana & Papa came for the first half of the trip and then Grandpa Jim and Jill came for the last 2 days. Our schedule was great - except for Riley's sleep, he was up at 5:45 every morning to greet the sun - so much for mommy & daddy sleeping in. We would wake up, go for a walk around the point, grab coffee, come back for breakfast and then it was off to the beach for the afternoon. Riley enjoyed digging, jumping off the dock, playing golf and baseball and chasing the ducks and lots and lots of swinging! We were lucky to have our neighbors and friends there at the same time as well with their 2 little girls who Riley enjoyed playing with. Here are some fun pictures from our week in paradise!
