It's hard for Nate and I to believe that our little boy has been with us for half of a year already. We've had so much fun growing as a family and watching Riley continue to change and develop. We are so blessed and so full of joy every time we look at him. He is a constant reminder about what is important in life.
We had his 6 month check-up and his stats have changed quite a bit since his 4 month. He's now 17 lb. 2 oz. (50%), 25.5 in. long (a whopping 18%), and his head is 18% as well, even though we thought it was much larger. We're getting ready to put on size 3 diapers and I swear he'll be crawling in no time. He still uses rolling as a mode of transportation, but he's now figured out how to raise his little rear end up in the air. He pushes on his feet quite a bit to try to scoot, though he hasn't made it very far. He's sitting up on his own for longer and longer periods of time and enjoys standing up - or bearing weight on his legs. His giggles, smiles, screeches and conversations continue to put a smile on both mine and Nate's faces.

Happy 6 months! What a cutie. Ha, we are still in size 3 diapers! Just goes to show they all grow so differently! =) Cant wait to see you guys again...
